Duke Roderick is the current Lord of Stormwarden and Duke of Tarwydd. He is the father of Moya, Sir Baldric, and Aeric.

During the Usurper’s War, Roderick sided with the Aneurins, although the war was eventually lost to the Usurper, Bryn Kentigern. Roderick surrendered to the Usurper King in order to save his life, and the lives of his children. In order to keep Roderick from mounting a rebellion, Kentigern had Roderick’s youngest son, Aeric, sent off to one of the nobles loyal to the new king to be fostered.
